Meet Shannon

Shannon Smith is a Chinese Medicine practitioner and acupuncturist at Vyne Health, located in Gold Coast, Miami. 

Shannon’s approach is grounded in classical acupuncture and enriched by a deep interest in skin health, herbal medicine, facial acupuncture, gua sha, cupping, moxibustion and the many ways Chinese Medicine can support both the body and the whole person. Shannon has specific interests in supporting patients through stress, digestive issues, sleep disturbances, musculoskeletal pain, pre conception care, pregnancy and beyond, hormonal imbalances, skin concerns, and with general emotional wellbeing support. Shannon is here for all genders, all backgrounds and mostly all ages, with her preference being from age 10 onwards.

Shannon has a particular passion for women’s health and is dedicated to supporting women through all phases of life, including menstrual cycle regulation, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and the transition through perimenopause and menopause. She completed part of her clinical training at Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine in Nanjing, where she gained firsthand experience in the integration of traditional and modern approaches to health in China.

Deeply curious by nature, Shannon is always expanding her knowledge and skill set. Whether studying classical acupuncture, Master Tung, Kiiko Matsumoto-style approaches, cosmetic and facial acupuncture, or herbal medicine, she believes each system has its place and that the best care comes from meeting each patient as an individual.

Shannon is passionate about continually learning, refining her practice, and going above and beyond to support her patients with thoughtful, personalised care. 

As of July 2026, Shannon Smith is a full time Acupuncturist at Vyne Health. We are extremely grateful for her skills, commitment to continual learning and the exceptional care she delivers to her patients and everyone that steps through our doors.

  • AHPRA Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncturist (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)

  • AACMA Registered (Australian Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Association)

  • Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine), RMIT University, Melbourne

  • Internship at Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine, Nanjing-China 

  • Certified in CPR and First Aid

  • Certified in White Lotus Holistic Cosmetic Acupuncture 

  • Certified in Michelle Gellis Facial Acupuncture
